Our Revival

Imagine a repentant, surrendered and transformed people who are passionately in love with their God. They are mesmerized by the idea that this is not about them, but all about HIM. They have said to themselves, "Could it be that God possibly thinks the church should be about Him and not about us? Lord, we repent!" These people are transfixed by His presence, His glory and His heart for the lost of their city. They refuse to go unless His presence goes before them. "Then Moses said to Him, "If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here."( Exodus 33:15)
They are worshipers with worn-out knees, warriors who are not afraid to do battle in the heavenly realms for the souls of men. They are fire starters, flame throwers, hope peddlers, grace givers, and seed throwers. They have been touched by the heart of God. They are young and old alike.
It's been confirmed! Each week since June of 2012 they have met together for worship, prayer, and repentance over their homes, churches, community, and nation. They now know who they are in their God and even more important who God is in them. They know what they have been sent to do! They are sent to empower the poor, strengthen the weak, embrace the outcast, seek the lost and IGNITE REVIVAL in the hearts of men and women. They are called to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely they have received; freely they give. They worship together, pray together, fast together, repent together and serve God together. They are in hot pursuit of God's presence, knowing He won't relent until He has all of them. Their cities will change because God has called them unto Himself to worship Him and Him only.
They are us! We believe that repentance, prayer, fasting, radical worship and obedience may seem to some as small things done, but it has been huge for us and we have seen our Lord and Savior work miracles in our community. With His great love and power, we will IGNITE the world for Jesus. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. This is how we will IGNITE a nation for God!
How we began
In June of 2012, two of Springville, California's law enforcement officers, Greg Stoffel (California Highway Patrol Officer), and Ron Crouch, (Springville, California Resident Officer) — both passionate believers, shared with a group of Christians and concerned citizens that within the community of Springville there were severe issues that needed the help of the community to prevent a downhill spiral of criminal activity and drug abuse. This group was asked to view the documentary movie, "An Appalachian Dawn," as many of the issues that once ravaged a small town in Kentucky were many of the same issues that Springville, California was experiencing. That same month, over 550 of the 1000 residents of Springville, California viewed this documentary.
After the great response from our community, it became clear that fervent and persistent worship, prayer, and repentance were needed for the community of Springville. So beginning with only 8 people, we first met on June 4th, 2012. We decided from that moment on to meet on a regular basis and thereafter and became known as "Ignite Revival Ministries." We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Ministry.
It's now 2019 and God has grown us up in amazing ways. We have seen and continue to see salvations, deliverances, miracles of healing, marriages restored and much repentance in the heart of our local Christians. We still have a long journey ahead, and God is not finished with us yet. As the days have grown darker we see the need to continue with hearts that are repentant, praise-filled, and passionate towards the God who created and saved us.

Revivalists of the past preached, "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God!" or "Without Holiness, No one Will See God!" A sermon with that title today would shock most of the conscience of the American church. We need preachers that will come out of their prayer closet on fire with a message from heaven. John Burton says, "We should preach in such a way that people either hate you or fall in love with Jesus."
